Critical incidents happen in responder work, and if handled incorrectly can have detrimental impacts and potentially cause long-term trauma. This course helps educate agencies and responders about these events, the physiological and psychological changes that happen to a responder when experiencing them, and what steps to take to ensure the best possible recovery. It also addresses what resiliency skills agencies and responders can implement to mitigate stress symptoms. This course is applicable to all responders and meets the educational requirements of CO Senate Bill 19-091 for law enforcement members.

  • Discover the brain chemistry and physiological reactions that occur in the body of the responder during extreme stress events.
