Why choose our Peer Support Coursework Bundle?

Peer Support Teams across the country have proven to be invaluable assets to public safety agencies.  A well-trained and well-supervised team can act as the first line of defense for responder mental health by providing support, assistance, and applicable resources to peers in need.  The NERPSC Peer Support Bundle includes 15 courses tailored to peer supporters, including Thriving Through Stress and Trauma, Anger Management, Moral Injury, Suicide Prevention, and more.  This bundle is perfect for the new peer supporter to help create a strong foundation for peer support certification or for the experienced responder looking to brush up on their skills.

Though this coursework provides the foundational classroom instruction for a peer support certification, we strongly recommend it be accompanied by 8-10 hours of direct consultation and scenario-based tabletop exercises facilitated by a clinician to learn how to put your skills into action.  If you do not already have established clinical oversight, NERPSC provides this scenario-based training quarterly, in a virtual format, to complete your peer support certification.
